Founded by Reg Abos, Studio Regina is a Melbourne-based design consultancy working across publication design, data visualisation, participatory research, and image-making, with a particular interest in how these disciplines converge through critical and socially engaged practice. The studio works across publishing, cultural institutions, research, and public engagement projects, often exploring how design can foster dialogue and behaviour change.

Originally from Cebu, Reg is a designer, educator, and researcher whose practice explores the entanglements between vernacular culture, regenerative futures, and information design. Over the last two decades, she has collaborated extensively with publishers, researchers, public institutions, and social innovation initiatives across Australia, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. She has previously served on the education committee of the Data Visualization Society and the executive committee of the Australian Book Designers Association, and has received numerous accolades from the Australian Publishers Association and the Good Design Awards.

Reg lectures in data visualisation and communication design at RMIT University, where she also coordinates the undergraduate Experience Design major delivered in Singapore.

Boris and Ivan are the studio’s Polish Lowland Sheepdogs and resident clowns. They are totally useless and get more attention than they deserve.
